Hometown by the Sea

Along the winding coastal road, Where ocean breezes ease the load,
Lies a place both wild and free, My hometown by the sapphire sea.

Palm trees sway in soft embrace, Casting shade on this quiet place.
Homes in colors, bright and bold, Hold stories new, and tales of old.

Red roofs dot the shoreline’s edge, Where waves meet land in whispered
pledge, To carry secrets, laughter, tears, Through tides that roll
with passing years.

Mountains rise, a watchful sight, Guarding dreams by day and night.
This place, my heart will always know, No matter where in life I go.

So here’s to roads that wind and bend, To shores that greet me like a
friend. In every wave, in every tree, My hometown lives, a part of me.
